Cherukolpuzha Convention
Ayroor Cherukolpuzha religious convention is a convention of the Hindus conducted at Cherukole on the banks of the river Pamba in the month of February every year. Large number of people gather here to attend the speeches held by prominent religious scholars and cultural personalities.
In Ayroor Hindus and Christians are currently almost equal in numbers and social status. The convention is held for a week in February every year. Snakeboat races also attract people to the village. Ayroor boasts numerous Churches and Temples. The harmony with which the two prominent communities live in Ayroor is worth noting.
